Tallavera Grove

Established in 1994, our Hunter Valley vineyard, Tallavera Grove, enjoys a warm coastal climate specialising in the traditional local varieties of Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay and Shiraz. Italian varieties Vermentino and Sagrantino flourish, adding an exotic edge to the wines we create here.
One of the special features of this vineyard it the diversity of soil types, elevation and aspect. The 70 acres (28 hectares) of vines grow on terra rossa clay loams on limestone, red duplex loams over marly shales or alluvial brown loams on the creek flats.
Tallavera Grove is the home of our cellar door. Come and drink in the spectacular views with a glass of Carillion Wine.
